Overview
This document will help you to configure your Windows Mail e-mail client to work with the FreedomNet Solutions E-mail system.
Step 1: Create your Account
Start Windows Mail. On the "Tools" menu, click "Accounts."

Step 2: Add Account
Click on "Add" on the Internet Accounts Window

Step 3: E-mail Account
Choose "E-Mail Account" and then click Next

Step 4: Your Name
Type your name the way you would like it displayed, then click Next.

Step 5: E-mail Address
Type in your entire FreedomNet e-mail address, then click Next.

Step 6: E-Mail Servers
Make sure POP3 is chosen for the server type, then type fnw.us for the incoming and outgoing server names. Finally make sure "Outgoing server requires authentication" is checked, then click Next.

Step 7: Mail Logon
Type in your ENTIRE email address for the username and also type in your password, then click Next.

Step 8: Do not download my e-mail at this time
Click on "Do not download my e-mail at this time", then click Finish.

Step 9: Properties
Click on "Do not download my e-mail at this time", then click Finish.

Step 10: Advanced Configuration
Make sure both boxes are checked for the incoming and outgoing servers, also make sure Outgoing is set to 465 and Incoming is set to 995, then click OK, then Close. You are now finished.
